"This is probably the best virtual Rhodes I’ve ever heard! The level of authenticity is just astonishing - I can barely tell the difference between the EP-88s and a real Suitcase Rhodes. Apart from the enormous amount of samples there are so many options to choose from: I love the vibrato and the keyboard amp, you can get to the point where the EP-88s resembles Herbie’s Rhodes sound from the 70s. Tweak a few more knobs and you can make it sound like a Dyno-Rhodes from the 80s. Every possible resonance and damper sound can be adjusted which make the EP-88s sound as lively as my real Rhodes.
I’ve played it live several times so far and everyone were amazed how wonderful the EP-88s works on stage, too! As a sample-producer myself I can only say that Thomas has produced the best sounding virtual Rhodes out there! Thanks for creating such an inspiring virtual instrument!"
